All Coaches AND Assistant Coaches must have the appropriate level certification (see the Coaching Requirements) for the team they are coaching and must have a Safe Haven Certification. If you have successfully completed the Safe Haven course before, you do not need to take it again.

1) Log into www.eayso.org and
choose "Volunteer"
2) Click on "Sign up for a course".
3) In the Region field, type 88
4)
Choose the appropriate clinic from the list of all the
courses.
5) Click on Search

SAFE HAVEN CLINICS
Part of the requirement to coach or assistant coach in our program is to attend a Coaches Safe Haven clinic, which you will only have to attend once and will certify you for as long as you coach in our program.
If you are receiving this message, our records indicate you have not attended one of these clinics as of yet.The next Coaches Safe Haven clinic we'll be offering will be held at the
Glendale Sports Complex meeting room onFriday, July 30 from 6:30pm until 9:30pm
(map can be found at http://www.ayso88.org/org/fields.html ).
To sign up for the clinic, please log into www.eayso.org , click on "My eAYSO", click on "Course Signup", click on CA under "State", 1 under "Section", and Safe Haven Coach under "Course".
Once the courses come up, click on the 7/30/10 course and sign up for it.
Because of space restrictions, the clinic will be limited to the first 30 coaches who sign up.
You will need to have turned in a volunteer form in order to get credit for the clinic.

To sign up for the clinic, please log into www.eayso.org , click on "My eAYSO", click on "Enroll to take a class", click on CA under "State", 1 under "Section", C under "Area" and U-6 Coach, U-8 Coach, U-10 Coach, or U-12 Coach under "Course".
Once the courses come up, click on the appropriate date and clinic and sign up.
Please be sure to sign up for the appropriate division you will be coaching or assisting:
Under 5 coaches and assistant coaches need to sign up for the Under 6 clinic.
Under 8 coaches and assistant coaches need to sign up for the Under 8 clinic.
Under 10 coaches and assistant coaches need to sign up for the Under 10 clinic.
Under 12 coaches and assistant coaches need to sign up for the Under 12 clinic.
Under 14 coaches and assistant coaches need to sign up for the Under 12 clinic.
Under 16 coaches and assistant coaches need to sign up for the Under 12 clinic.
Please be aware there will be some field training, so you will want to dress accordingly.
You will need to have turned in a volunteer form in order to get credit for the clinic (you can bring the form to the clinic and turn it into me or Nicole Battles - no one else).Volunteer forms need to be turned in every year.
