Q. Why has my team not been assigned any games to referee?
A. We have not received a completed signed form from you. If you have submitted one to us, please let me know ASAP (td88@ayso88.org) and we will assign you games. I apologize in advance if this is due to an error on our part.
Q. How do I get credit for my stand-by?
A. This is going to be the easiest stand-by procedure you have ever encountered. YOU decide when you want to make your referee team available. However, you MUST be available to referee the next set of games. For example, if you come to the referee table at 11:15 and offer to be a stand-by referee team, you will be given a game for the next set of games, 11:30, 11:45 etc. if all the games are covered, you will be given credit. Please be prepared to referee at the GSC or CVHS.
Q. How is Stand-by handled at the CVHS?
A. You will report to the table there. Since we do not want you to referee within your own pool, the field monitor there will call the GSC and ask if we need you at the GSC. If you are needed, you will need to come and referee at the GSC.
Q. How about my goodies?
A. We really take care of our referees. Every referee will receive a gift, a t-shirt, a coin, and a pin. You will also get lunch. All the goodies will be given to the person who checks in the team initially.
