Our Mission is to develop and deliver you a quality youth soccer program which promotes a fun, family environment based on AYSO’s Six Philosophies: Everyone Plays®, Balanced Teams, Open Registration, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship and Player Development.

About Region 88

AYSO Region 88 is one of the largest regions in the entire AYSO organization with close to 2,200 players registered in our Fall Core program and 1,300 players in the Spring. We serve the communities of Glendale, La Crescenta and Montrose. However, since AYSO does not have residency requirements, Region 88 also has players from Los Angeles, Tujunga, Sunland, La Cañada, Eagle Rock and other nearby communities. Region 88 is part of Area 1C of Section 1.

AYSO Region 88 is part of the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) which is headquartered in Torrance, CA. The national organization is broken down into 14 Sections. Each Section is comprised of one or more Areas and each Area is made up of various Regions. We have close to 250 teams and schedule more than 1,700 games each regular season. This requires the dedicated and coordinated efforts of hundreds of volunteers including coaches, referees, parents and administrative staff.

AYSO Region 88 has been a Platinum region since 2004.

President's Circle

Each year, the President’s Circle recognizes regions that meet or exceed the AYSO commitment of Bringing More Soccer to More Kids™. It honors those regions that have grown their player registration over two consecutive years (through April 30) with a minimum of 25 percent or 75 players in cumulative growth.

Regions that play only spring/summer seasons are included with their May 1-June 30 registrations from the previous Membership Year added in to give a full two years.

While every AYSO Region faces its own unique opportunities and challenges, our Vision is the same: to provide world-class youth soccer programs that enrich children’s lives. The President’s Circle honors those AYSO Regions that are delivering that vision in special ways.
