Important Registration Information

Fall registration closes on July 1st

Please register on the waiting list and we'll reach out as soon as possible if space is available

Practices begin on or after August 1 (6U-19U), games begin on September 10 (5U-16U) and runs approximately 10 weeks. Game schedules will be made available on or after August 14. All 5U-14U games to be played on Saturdays.
Each participant will receive a uniform (shirt, shorts and socks) a trophy and a yearbook. Team and individual pictures are taken in September and may be purchased separately.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Teams will no longer be required to provide a sponsor (however we do still need sponsors).
The number of players that can be placed on teams is based on the number of head coaches who volunteer. Parent/guardians who volunteer receive priority and payment does not guarantee placement on a team.
The region will consider requests to allow more skilled players the option to move up to an older division. However our current policy does not allow any player the option to "play down" in a younger division (no exceptions).
Teammate requests will be considered in the U4, 5U and 6U age divisions only and are not guaranteed.
At least one (1) parent/guardian must attend a Region-hosted kick-off meeting (most likely to be virtual). Date/time to be determined.
New players to AYSO and/or Region 88 Glendale must upload a copy of an age verification document (eg. birth certificate,
passport, insurance card – if birth date is listed.) New and some returning players may need to attend a brief evaluation.

The effective date of age determination for registration shall be the player's age as of December 31 looking ahead of the Membership Year. Example: For MY2022 the division the child will be placed in will be determined based on their age as of December 31, 2023. This age determination does not apply to Playground or Schoolyard division.

Registration Instructions

Registration and payments are all done online by (NEW PARENTS) creating an account by clicking the REGISTER NOW button or by logging into your account and clicking the 1 Program Available button after adding a player(s) to the account.

Please note the VIP Program (Special Needs) displays for all players as it is an open division for all age groups.

Wait List

Each age group has a limited number of spots due to a limited number of head coaches (volunteers). Participants who register in full divisions may be placed on waiting list. Player(s) on the waiting list are not guaranteed a roster spot and will be notified as space becomes available.

IMPORTANT: An email will be sent if/when a participant is activated from the waiting list. Orders may be canceled if registration is not completed within two (2) days of being activated from the waiting list. The participant may be re-registered to the waiting list (by the parent/guardian) with no priority.

If you have received an activation email, please log into your account and click the View/Pay link in the Open Balance section to complete registration and payment.

Refund Policy

AYSO Region 88 Glendale allows for refunds submitted before the posted deadline. All requests must be submitted in writing and must include the reasons and/or circumstances involved.

Any player who withdrawals before the posted deadline date and time will be refunded their registration fee, minus any non-refundable membership fee and/or cancellation fee.
A $10 cancellation fee will be charged for all refunds.
The parent or guardian requesting the refund must complete and submit a Request to Cancel Registration Form.
Refunds and credits can be carried over from season to season and applied toward the registration fees of a following season.
Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for approved refunds to be processed.

AYSO Membership Fee

What is the AYSO National Membership Fee?

Membership in AYSO is required for each Membership Year (from 8/1 – 7/31) before a member may participate in any AYSO program or event. This fee entitles the member to all benefits for that membership year, including:

The AYSO National Player Fee ($20.00) and any/all transactions fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Refunds may also be subject to a $5 administrative fee.

Volunteer Requirements

Registration for this program will be limited in size by the number of volunteers willing to assist the region. Please consider volunteering as a head coach, assistant coach or team manager. If you’re interested in volunteering, you may submit a volunteer application any time before the season begins.

Our region strives to provide referees for each game in the 10U-14U divisions. Our goal is to provide three (3) qualified referees every game. To achieve this goal, we need several slots to be filled each week. In order to ensure that we have the referee slots filled, each team needs to provide volunteer referees.
